ENEL: Olfactory impact minimization of atmospheric geothermal well testing

Fecha de vencimiento: 15-01-2023
Identify and test a solution able to eliminate or at least strongly reduce the olfactory impact produced during geothermal well testing with particular regard on hydrogen sulfide and other VOC. The solution must be applicable to wells having different characteristics in terms of fluid flow rate, temperature, pressure, gas content and chemical composition. The preferred method does not involve in-well treatment. Finally, the solution must be transportable to different testing locations.

NewTechAqua Award Challenge

Fecha de vencimiento: 20-12-2022
The NewTechAqua Award Challenge seeks disruptive solutions based on the challenges listed below susceptible to bring economical, environmental, and social benefits and impacts in the aquaculture sector. The participating entities should respond to the main challenges identified by the NewTechAqua project. NewTechAqua’s activities, foreseen results and developed solutions are conceived to contribute to these challenges. A total of six challenges are defined as follows: Deliver solutions to improve fish and mollusk health and disease resistance: prediction models for specific diseases, kits for disease’ detection, new breeding programmes, and new diets. Increase the efficiency of aquaculture production systems via real-time management systems, satellite systems, and recommendations. Make the aquaculture sector more sustainable and circular through different rearing systems (RAS, biofloc technology, aquaponics) as well as new diets and feed products using fish by-products, fish processing wastewaters, and microalgae, new organic diets using plant proteins to produce more organic fish. Support diversification of fish species by studying the reproductive cycle of emerging fish species to re-create the best conditions for raising these new species in aquaculture production systems. Develop new eco-friendly fish and molluscs products with high nutritional value. Raise awareness and train professionals from the aquaculture sector by creating training programmes and conducting studies on consumers’ preferences.

ENEL: New design for sustainable Enel Primary Substation

Fecha de vencimiento: 20-12-2022
The purpose of this challenge is the creation of new sustainable architectural concepts dedicated to primary substations. The primary goal of the challenge is the creation of a sustainable architectonic modular system that allows a high degree of versatility and replicability, a necessary requirement to adapt the buildings and architectural elements to the different contexts of use present in the territory. This system must be able to house all the required electrical equipments of the Primary Substations and at the same time shall improve the visual, functional and spatial impact of these installations and their surrounding areas. Researching architectural concepts in relation with the natural and anthropized contexts where they are inserted means aiming to combine innovative formal research, technological skills and performance of components and materials with the lowest possible ecological footprint.

IBERDROLA. START-UP CHALLENGE: WIRELESS SENSORS IN TRANSFORMATION CENTRES

Fecha de vencimiento: 18-12-2022
Iberdrola, through its PERSEO Startups Programme, is looking for solutions that enable the early detection of incidents in installations and equipment through Plug&Play sensors communicated by Zigbee in the Transformer Center, with the aim of reducing the impact of incidents on supply and on the installations themselves. Sensors may be general purpose: smoke, CO2, temperature/humidity, flooding, tightening of connection terminals, intrusion, voltage/current... etc. or may be based on optical and/or thermographic cameras. Together with the sensor system, data processing and alarm management must be proposed. When assessing candidacies, the following technologies will be positively considered: Edge Computing, thermal infrared, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Plug&Play, among others.
