Through our PERSEO start-up programme, we launched a challenge in search of solutions focused on the development and implementation of innovative technological solutions aimed at improving the safety of field workers, focusing on the potential impact of any of the activities that make up a job (pre-visit, de-energisation, inspections, etc.). Both internal and governmental regulations (Royal Decrees) that apply in each case must be taken into account when developing solutions. Santander X Global Challenge: Banco Santanderlanza Santander X Global Challenge | Circular Economy Revolution, un reto global ideado junto a las fundaciones Norrsken y Oxentia, dirigido a startups y scaleups de 11 países (Alemania, Argentina, Brasil, Chile, EEUU, España, México, Portugal, Polonia, Reino Unido y Uruguay) que aporten soluciones innovadoras en el ámbito de la economía circular. El objetivo de esta nueva iniciativa es contribuir a transformar el mundo optimizando el uso de recursos naturales, reduciendo la generación de residuos e impulsando la transición hacia un modelo económico circular, más eficiente, sostenible y respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Todas las empresas que deseen participar podrán hacerlo hasta el 9 de mayo en Santander X. Las soluciones de las empresas candidatas deberán estar centradas en cuatro áreas de actuación: Reciclaje, nuevos materiales, nuevos modelos de negocio y energías renovables.

ENDESA (ENEL): AI-Enhanced Satellite Image Resolution

Enel is looking for a novel, super resolution AI tool and algorithm to improve the spatial resolution of Open Satellite Data for monitoring large-scale photovoltaic, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), wind power plant sites, the detection of new solar installations, and the analysis of urban conditions such as new or abandoned buildings.
ENDESA (ENEL): Seamless Energy Connectivity: a portable wireless device that can communicate with Enel’s Smart Meters via RF Communication

Enel Grids is looking for a portable device that can be carried by field technicians in order to communicate with the device for reading/programming activities at a distance from the smart meter. This device must be portable, small and lightweight so that it can be carried in the technician’s pocket or else in a small bag, with a rechargeable battery and an external RF antenna that can be removed, for carrying or for when it needs to be changed, and with the possibility to interface with a smartphone for meter management. The connection is made using the 169 MHz radiofrequency channel Wireless M-Bus which is already available in some types of Smart Meter, encapsulating the Meters and More protocol that is necessary for exchanging information. The acquisition, and compliance, of all necessary standards and instructions to provide the functionalities described is the responsibility of the Participant.
